About this project
West Island Co. is a men’s lifestyle brand that specializes in men’s grooming and daily essentials.
From the ground up, I developed and executed the art and brand direction for West Island Co. To execute its vision, I synchronized and produced the entire online brand experience - from the website launch to its digital feel and visual content.
I scoped all the video production needs, and filmed/cut several video pieces. I also acted as the Creative Director for several projects – handpicking a team of creatives to support the brand’s venture in the men’s grooming space.

As the Production Manager for this Air Canada campaign, I along with Palander Studios Creative Director Alen, and Director of Photography Mauri De Haro teamed up with Air Canada to produce the #FlytheFlag California campaign from its concept, execution and delivery.
For Palander Studios, I was also the CD, Copywriter. I led the copywriting for several campaigns which included brand influencer collaborations.

My time in Cuba.
These photos were taken during my first solo visit to Cuba in 2017.
I spent time in Havana and in Trinidad – two very special places that have, to differing degrees, withstood the test of time.
Whenever I visit a new country, I seek the raw soul and culture and stray away from the touristy draws that feel inauthentic and make-believe.
Gladly I left with a stronger understanding of the country and plan to re-visit and dig deeper into what makes Cuba so special.

My journey in photography started in Paris.
I had a minor interest in photography when I moved to the city, but never did I imagine it would trigger and fuel a curiosity that would take me through a 12-year experimental journey with the medium.
